THE OUTER CHURCH COMMUNITY FOGCAST #3

For this edition of The Outer Church Fogcast, Oregon-based artist/writer Brian Churilla takes us in search of an American folk hero. Churilla's acclaimed new comic book The Secret History Of DB Cooper (Oni Press) is a fantastical elaboration on a genuine mystery: the true story of the only successful skyjacking in US history, whose perpetrator was never caught...

IN SEARCH OF DB COOPER

Out this week is the second issue of Brian Churilla's intriguing Oni Press comic book series The Secret History Of DB Cooper. If drug-crazed carnage, darkly psychedelicute artwork and alternate history mythmaking are your bag, you'd be well advised to grab a copy of this and, if you missed out last month, the first issue too. Want to know more? Well, Churilla may have been involved in the forthcoming third installment of The Outer Church Community Broadcast. Stay tuned for more information.

THE OUTER CHURCH COMMUNITY BROADCAST #2

Look out below... the second edition of The Outer Church Community Broadcast is now available for insertion in all ears. Our very (very) special guest is esteemed British comics writer Peter Milligan, whose wordcraft has graced a dizzying panoply of strips and titles including Shade The Changing ManBad Company, Sooner Or Later, Hewligan's Haircut, Johnny Nemo, Skreemer, Rogan Gosh, EnigmaBatman, X Force/X Statix, Red Lanterns and, of course, the OC's favourite comic book, Hellblazer - whose protagonist, 'laughing magician' and conman John Constantine, provides the primary focus of this conversation. There's also time for some chat regarding social class, astral travel and Milligan's reasons for leaving Justice League Dark, which teams a DC Universe version of Constantine with Shade, Zatanna, Deadman and Enchantress. All this and a fair bit o' music too. Enjoy...
