2 MOREAU'S DREAM

Tomorrow is the second Wednesday of the month... which means it's time for Church, O ye faithful!

"He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor! Many Shuvs and Zuuls knew what it was to be roasted in the depths of the Slor that day, I can tell you!"

- Louis Tulley, 1984

Thanks to Laura O'Callaghan-White for the eye-scaldingly brilliant artwork above!

The Outer Church: Christmas 2009 Edition

Come one, come all! The Outer Church presents its second shimmering on December 9th 2009... healthy dollops of delicious psych, full-fat prog, spicy krautrock and perhaps some cosmic pudding for afters - but watch your teeth on them Venusian doubloons!

Oh, and contrary to what Brighton free mag The Source might tell you, I won't just be spinning "wigged out old tunes" - I'll be spinning wigged out new tunes too! Lovely!

Winter Is Most Definitely Here...

...and to celebrate, the rather marvellous Moon Wiring Club have a new album out entitled Striped Paint For The Last Post. It's an exceptional piece of work, the kind of thing that might result from an impossible collaboration between Vernon Elliott and J Dilla. There's a twist of British comics magickkkkk in there too, a la Leah Moore and John Reppion's underrated Albion mini-series - in which long-forgotten, supposedly fictional characters return from oblivion.

It's the ideal Christmas present for oneself or that significant other! Why not purchase one - or several - here...?

Rest in peace, Edward. We will always love you.
